# 50501 Veterans > 50501 Veterans is a veteran-led, nonpartisan coalition of current and former > military service members, federal employees, and their families. It defends > veteran care, constitutional democracy, and the promise owed to everyone who > served. It is a veteran organization aligned with the broader 50501 Movement. ## What 50501 Veterans does The organization's work is structured around three pillars: - **Veterans' Care, Rights, and Dignity** — quality healthcare, timely benefits, trauma-informed services, equal treatment, and accessible institutions for veterans. - **Democracy, Peace, and Constitutional Duty** — protecting constitutional democracy, peaceful transfers of power, voting access, responsible diplomacy, and limits on endless war. - **No Veteran Left Behind** — defending deported veterans, separated families, and veterans excluded, unhoused, or trapped in crisis systems.
