Democracy, Peace, and Constitutional Duty
Veterans defend the Constitution, peace, and democratic stability.
We believe that military service comes with a continuing obligation to defend the Constitution — not just on a battlefield, but at home. We mobilize veterans and supporters to protect democratic institutions, peaceful transfers of power, voting access, responsible diplomacy, and limits on endless war. Veterans understand the cost of instability better than most, having seen what happens when institutions collapse, political violence rises, and wars expand without accountability.
Why this matters.
- 01
Veterans swore an oath to the Constitution, not to any politician or party.
- 02
Democratic institutions reduce chaos, corruption, and violence.
- 03
Reliable alliances deter adversaries and prevent larger wars.
- 04
Endless war is paid for by troops, families, civilians, and future generations.
- 05
Unchecked war spending drains resources from healthcare, housing, and domestic needs.
Where we direct this fight.
We speak with veteran authority for the peaceful transfer of power, the rule of law, and the integrity of democratic institutions. The same oath that sent us overseas obligates us to reject political violence and defend constitutional order here at home.
We recruit and train poll workers, organize rides to the polls, and field lawful nonpartisan observers to keep elections accessible and secure. Protecting the vote is hands-on work, and veterans are uniquely trusted to do it without partisanship.
We support reliable alliances, professional diplomacy, and the kind of conflict prevention that keeps service members out of avoidable wars. Those who have paid the cost of failed strategy know that strong diplomacy is not weakness — it is what keeps the peace.
We organize to repeal outdated war authorizations, restore congressional oversight of war powers, and educate the public on the true human and financial costs of endless war. Veterans have seen where unaccountable militarism leads, and we refuse to let it continue in our name.
